   Ty is a founder of Cogent Company and has more than 12 years of management and technology consulting experience and specializes in architecting professional, well designed, information management applications. Prior to founding Cogent Company, Ty was a founding partner of Crederaâ€"a strategy and management consulting firm. Ty began his career as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand and worked for clients in the shipping & distribution, government and financial industries. Ty is a regular contributor to the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN), DevSource, and has recently written a book, Office Programming 2003: Real World Applications. Ty received a BBA in Accounting and a B.S. in Spanish from Texas Tech University.
