    In addition, Memorial Medical Center has scheduled its annual large-scale vaccination clinic for Oct. 25, said Twyla Anderson, employee health and infection control nurse for the hospital.The hospital typically gives out about 4,000 free vaccinations to community members.It will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    The Memorial Medical Center clinic is for adults ages 18 and older.

    Even so, Anderson said, health-care providers are emphasizing this year the importance of vaccinating children.
