Troy Anderson joined Merit's staff in June 2007 as Director of the Preparatory Program and Dynamic Starts where he made an immediate impact with his wealth of experience in jazz performance, instruction and program development.Prior to coming to Merit, Troy served as Program Director at the David Adler Music and Arts Center in Libertyville, IL where he was responsible for all aspects of music programming.During his tenure at the Adler Center, Troy successfully increased enrollment, developed a highly successful summer program, implemented curriculum initiatives and established a highly successful faculty and student performance series.Troy earned his Bachelor of Music from the University of North Texas and his Master in Music from DePaul University where he conducted the Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Workshop.
