   Harrisburg, PA (August 18, 2005) - American Education Services (AES) announced today that Tom Anderson will serve as the Regional Account Executive for the AES Southeast Office, located in Jacksonville, Florida.
   
   Mr. Anderson will be serving the postsecondary schools and lenders of the southeast region of the nation.
   
   He has 15 years of experience in the student aid industry. For the past two years he held the position of Vice President of Operations/IT for Student Loan Funding, Cincinnati, Ohio, working closely with schools with regard to processing and funding issues, as well as Web interfaces. The previous 12 years were spent with InTuition/NELNET, where he managed operational areas including accounting, private credit originations, guarantor relations, customer service and project management.
   
   Mr. Anderson is currently a member of the Treasury Management Association, the Collection Creditors International, the Council of Advisors, the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA) and the Florida Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (FASFAA).
   
   He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Theology from Cincinnati Christian University and is currently working toward obtaining his Masters degree from Bellevue University. A native to Florida, Mr. Anderson recently returned to Jacksonville with his wife and three daughters.
