   Unemployment rates in the Twin Counties climbed slightly with little hiring activity during June, said Terry Anderson, N.C. Employment Security Commission assistant office manager in Rocky Mount.
   
   Edgecombe County posted a 9 percent unemployment rate in June, up from 8.5 percent in May, Anderson said. Nash County's June unemployment rate was 6.7 percent, up from 6.2 percent, she said.
   
   "We hope to experience job growth in the near future with The Cheesecake Factory coming," Anderson said.
