   Walter Anderson was charged with first-degree murder on May 15.
   
   The charges came after Gibson's body was found in the Bentley Hotel, where he often did odd jobs, on the morning of Sept. 17, 2004. An undisclosed amount of cash was also reported missing from the scene.
   
   Anderson will next appear in court on Sept. 14 after Justice J.S. Moore denied his bail request due to the violent circumstances surrounding the first-degree murder charge.

   Previously to the bail hearing, Anderson was in court on Aug. 30 when an agent for his attorney Greg Dunn of Calgary requested a delay in establishing a date for a preliminary inquiry into the first-degree murder charge.
