Terri Anderson is an outreach coordinator for the Center for School Change in rural Minnesota. She has helped several schools and communities plan, implement and evaluate place-based education initiatives. She and co-author Vicki Nelson wrote Schools and Communities Working Together: Celebrating School Change Projects in Rural Minnesota, with Strategies for School Reformers. Terri serves on the Waubun - Ogema - White Earth School Board and the Minnesota Rural Partners and Northwest Minnesota Foundation boards. She has taught K-8 grades in rural Montana and Minnesota. She has an M.A. degree in education. She lives in northwest Minnesota with her husband, a fourth generation farmer, and their children, the fifth generation to live on the original homestead. She loves to spend time with her family and friends in the great outdoors.
