Susan Anderson, former moderator of Presbyterian Church USA, said it was important for Christians to join together to visibly show their opposition to the war.

Mr. Anderson was born Dec. 4, 1917, the son of Charles Anderson and Susan McCullough Anderson in Clay City, Ind.

Mr. Anderson was a member of the Presbyterian Church and also a member of Masonic Lodge #80 in Bowling Green since 1940.
