Her education included study abroad in Europe and South Africa . Summer was an Associate with an International Executive Search firm and was responsible for managing many parts of search execution.This included search initiation, candidate sourcing and development, and candidate referencing.Summer was a founding member of the Semiconductor, Hardware and Systems Specialty Practice.She was also a member of the International Technology Practice's Associate Council.

Earlier in her career, Summer was a Senior Associate with Coopers & Lybrand, where she was responsible for recruiting experienced professionals and practice leaders to that firm's West Coast tax organization.Summer is a native of Minnesota . She lives in Newport Beach with her husband and two children, enjoys travel, skiing, and the study of real estate and art.

As a Senior Associate with Burgess Leighton & Associates, Summer Anderson brings to the firm a wealth of experience in client services in general and consulting in particular.Her current search work concentrates on senior level positions within the Consumer Goods and Services sector, her most recent area of expertise.

Prior to her contributions to Burgess Leighton, Summer served as an Associate with Heidrick & Struggles for five years, where she was a founding member of the Semiconductor, Hardware and Systems Specialty Practice.As a member also of the International Technology Practice,s Associate Council during her tenure with Heidrick & Struggles, Summer was selected as one of four peer leaders to act as advocates on a global basis for other Associates within the firm.Assisted by her stewardship, the Council created and communicated changes which increased the efficiency, responsiveness and morale of the Technology Practice.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Summer was a Senior Associate with Coopers & Lybrand.In that role she was responsible for recruiting experienced professionals and practice leaders to the firm's West Coast tax organization.

Summer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley.During her educational career she studied abroad in both Europe and South Africa.

A native of Minnesota, Summer lives in Newport Beach with her husband and daughter.She enjoys travel, skiing, and the study of architecture and art.She also devotes considerable time to charitable and volunteer activities.
