   Sue Anderson Sue has been active in the non profit and advocacy sectors for many years, working on civil rights, youth, social justice and environmental issues in the U.S. and in Asia and Africa. She has 20+ years working as Executive Director in many state, national and international organizations including Power of Hope, Whatcom Coalition for Healthy Communities and Equality Colorado. She is currently working as a consultant to nonprofit organizations. Sue has a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Masters degrees in Social Work and International Management.

   Sue Anderson is co-director of The Power of Hope an arts-based program that empowers teens to live positive, engaged lives. Before that, she was director of operations at the Women's Funding Alliance in Seattle. She has worked in the social justice nonprofit arena in the U.S. and internationally for 20 years. Prior to her current position, Sue served for seven years as executive director of Equality Colorado, a statewide lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender advocacy organization. Previous to that, she was executive director of the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Colorado. She has served on many boards of directors including chairing the boards of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the Chinook Fund, and Colorado NARAL. She is excited about what technology can bring to social justice activism and is passionate about ensuring that organizations working for change have access to technology.

   Sue Anderson lives in Bellingham and has worked in the non-profit and political sectors for 25 years. She was Executive Director of the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Colorado in the late 1980's until the passage of Amendment 2 in Colorado in 1992 when she became Executive Director of Equality Colorado, the statewide LGBT rights organization. She served on the board of directors of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force for seven years and co-chaired the board for two of those years. Since moving to Washington, she has volunteered with Spokane's campaign to defeat their anti-Gay initiative, for the Pride Foundation and served on the board of directors of the Women's Funding Alliance, among other things. She has run city council campaigns and a mayoral campaign in Bellingham, as well as coordinated field efforts for the Whatcom County Democrats.
