   Sue Anderson worked as a laboratory scientist at Royal Brisbane Hospital before taking on the role of Quality Manager.With the formation of Queensland Health Pathology and Scientific Services (QHPSS), her role was expanded to include 33 laboratories from the Gold Coast in the south to Thursday Island in the north and Mt Isa and Longreach in the west.She now has the position of Quality Manager for Queensland Health Pathology Service, the statewide provider of public sector pathology and is responsible for the management of the statewide integration of all quality systems and for providing advice to the QHPS executive on quality issues.She also supervises a team of 6 super scientists who provide relief for staff in rural and remote laboratories throughout Queensland.
   
   Sue has a Bachelor of Science and Diploma of Education from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management from Flinders University.
   
   She enjoys the challenge of her job and particularly the opportunity to work with staff in country laboratories.Her interests naturally include travel and camping.
