Steve Anderson, principal at Goodwin Technical High School in New Britain, was an assistant principal at Bullard- Havens in 2003.

"He very much cared about student learning, and worked out plans to maximize the potential of everyone in the building: students, teachers, assistant principals," Anderson said of LaVorgna.
