    Steve Anderson has been in the art business for almost twenty years and has been an official Star Wars artist for the past ten years.His first Star Wars projects involved creating Puzzle and Calendar art for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City.Since then, as a freelance illustrator, Steve has created artwork for the Lucasfilm Licensing Style-Guides Episodes I, II and III, which go to all licensees for use on domestic and international Star Wars merchandise.Steve has also created numerous book covers for Random House Publishing.These have included the novelization for Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.Additional covers have included Labyrinth of Evil, Survivor's Quest with companion e-book Fool's Bargain, Tatooine Ghost with companion e-book A Forest Apart, The Approaching Storm, Cloak of Deception, and Yoda-Dark Rendezvous.From the The Clone Wars Novel series, he created cover art for Shatterpoint, The Cestus Deception, and Jedi Trial with companion e-book The Hive.From the New Jedi Order series he created cover art for Traitor and Dark Journey.From The New Essential Guide series, his art is on the covers of Weapons and Technology, Vehicles and Vessels, Characters, and the Guide to Chronology.Steve's art has also appeared on numerous game box tops, gameboards and puzzles for Hasbro Games.These have included the new Star Wars Trivial Pursuit DVD version and the new Star Wars Monopoly Trilogy Collection.Steve has also created art for Hasbro in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, he did the box top illustrations for Stratego, Risk and Trivial Pursuit DVD version as well as six puzzle tins.He lives on the west coast in Portland, Oregon with his beautiful wife, three kids and a golden retriever.
