Mr. Anderson joined Legg Mason's Public Finance Department as an Analyst in 2003.His responsibilities include preparing quantitative analyses and financing models for a variety of financing structures, including fixed rate, variable rate and credit enhanced issues, as well as those involving the use of interest rate derivatives.Mr. Anderson's debt financing experience encompasses a variety of North Carolina general government issuers, including Mecklenburg, Brunswick, Catawba and Davidson Counties.

Prior to joining Legg Mason, Mr. Anderson served as a Budget Analyst with the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, DC.He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bob Jones University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Clemson University.Mr. Anderson holds the Series 7 and 63 securities licenses from the NASD.
