She is currently an adjunct instructor at Cape Fear Community College for the Continuing Education Department.    Mrs. Anderson is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she studied Nursing and Psychology. She is also a graduate of Mount Olive College of Wilmington with a degree in Business Administration / Organizational Design and Development. She is currently enrolled at St. Joseph's College pursuing a dual Master Degree (MHA/MSN).

   Sil Anderson, RN, LNC, MAAA is Senior Partner of United Health Standards, a national health care management consulting firm. She is well known for her creative and motivational ways of promoting excellence. Anderson was a previous hospice administrator and responsible for the development of a multi-site hospice and oncology program covering more than 32 counties. In 1996, Anderson was the recipient of the Peter Keese award of Hospice for the Carolinas in recognition of her strong leadership and contribution to the hospice industry. She is Co-Chair of the Carolina's Center for Hospice and End of Life Care Benchmarking Committee. She serves as the resource manager for the Coastal Home Care Coalition, and alliance of home health and hospice agencies in the southeastern area of North Carolina. In this role she uses her leadership skills to facilitate performance improvement, clinical pathways development, continuing education and program development. Anderson also serves as a surveyor and preceptor for ACHC and has received many state and national awards in recognition of her dedication to excellence in standards of health care. She has more than 15 years of experience in health care management, development and consulting. She is a member of the American Academy of Oncology Administrators and was inducted into the 1999 International Who's Who of Entrepreneurs. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
