   Ms Sharon Anderson, project co-ordinator at the Kerang Technical High School said they were thrilled with the funding. "This is a great opportunity for our school and in particular for the students who will have the opportunity to expand on their study of robotics in the classroom. The project will involve a virtual classroom which will link students from Kerang with students in remote areas of the Northern Territory. Other features of the project include ‘mentor pairing' links between students in the classroom and those in remote locations as well as links with tertiary experts and robotic industries, culminating in the participation in national RoboCup tournaments. We see this collaboration between students with different backgrounds, industry and tertiary experts as being the main strength of the project - with the possibility of extending these links into other areas," said Ms Anderson.
