   Sharon Anderson and James Jandak Wood, the director of Crude Impact, met in the summer of 2004 and found very quickly that they shared a passion to tell the story of oil and its impact on the world.

   From January 2005, Sharon worked nearly full time on the project for over a year, handling the cinematography, some design work, some editing of the film and more.
   
   Sharon has over 20 years experience in the field of graphic design and photography. Her interest in film and television began while living on the east coast where she did an internship at New Jersey Network. Sharon has been a design consultant with Adobe Systems, Inc. for many years and has art directed a number of award-winning national magazines. Sharon studied cinematography at Bay Area Video Coalition and Film Arts Foundation. She is currently Creative Director of Blue Moon Design in San Francisco.
