Sharon L. Anderson, Ph.D., is president of Praxis International, L.L.C., a global consulting firm that specializes in program development, design, evaluation, and related services.She has more than 20 years of experience as a community-building scholar/practitioner for major universities; as a consultant to international agencies and foundations, the federal government, nonprofit organizations and professionals in private practice.

Anderson is nationally recognized for her community building and organization development work.Her award-winning programs have been recognized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, HUD, U.S. Department of Justice, Michigan State University, the Government of Zimbabwe, Partners of the Americas, Inc., and the Kellogg Commission on the Future of State and Land Grant Universities as "exemplary."

Anderson has held administrative positions at three major universities.As a private businesswoman, Anderson is a recognized consultant for learning institutions, state, national and international governments, non-profit organizations, and international and community foundations.Anderson has extensive project management, coalition building and stakeholder development experiences in the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean and Southern Africa.

Dr. Sharon L. Anderson has more than 25 years combined experience in higher education administration, as a consultant in program design and evaluation, and in philanthropy.She has administered programs at Michigan State University, Tuskegee University, Western Michigan University, and the Kellogg Foundation.Currently, Sharon holds a position as Community Investment Officer at the Kalamazoo Community Foundation.She founded Praxis International LLC in 1989, a consulting firm specializing in program design and evaluation and has consulted on projects locally and internationally.She is a member of the American Evaluation Association, the American Association of Grant Professionals (AAGP), and the association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA).Sharon was a participant in the Emerging Minority Evaluators Project (MAE), 2004-2006.
