   GREAT FALLS, Mont. - Feb. 6, 2007 - D.A. Davidson & Co. today announced that Scott Anderson, Senior Vice President, Financial Consultant, Lake Oswego Branch Manager, has been elected to the firm's board of directors.
   
   Anderson will serve a one-year term on the 12-member board. The board sets broad policy for, and oversees the direction of, D.A. Davidson & Co., a full-service investment firm with offices in 16 states.
   
   Anderson joined D.A. Davidson & Co. in May 2005 with 21 years of experience as Senior Vice President of Investments at AG Edwards & Sons. He is an active member of the Greek Orthodox Church and Friends of the Children. Anderson holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Portland State University.
