   Scott Anderson, project engineer, of Anderson Montgomery Consulting Engineers, stated that "The project will improve the reliability of the system it will significantly help worker safety and ensure that existing and future regulatory standards are met."
   
   The CARDD of the DNRC has been providing low interest loans to cities, towns and water/sewer districts throughout Montana since 1991.

   In an update on the project, Scott Anderson, co-owner of Anderson-Montgomery Consulting Engineers, said negotiations with a Park City landowner to acquire an easement to the lagoon area are ongoing. An agreement has not yet been reached. Park City residents can expect additional information on the sewer project and the bond election in an upcoming newsletter from Anderson-Montgomery. The election will determine whether Park City voters approve a bond election to upgrade their sewer system that was built in the 1960s. The system was designed for 450 people at that time but now serves 850. Due to over capacity and a leak in the liner, Park City's current Sewer System violates state discharge permits. The proposal would upgrade the current system to a capacity of 1,350-1,400 people.
