   Sapna K. Anderson is an associate with Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Philadelphia office. As a member of the Health Effects Litigation Practice Group, Ms. Anderson concentrates her practice on litigation and counseling involving the pharmaceutical industry. She currently devotes a substantial portion of her work to the defense of pharmaceutical products liability claims, as well as litigation and counseling involving drug pricing. Ms. Anderson also is involved with the firm's Tangled Title Pro Bono Practice Group.
   
   Prior to joining Pepper, Ms. Anderson practiced with the Los Angeles law firm of Cohen & Lord, P.C., where she focused on litigation involving complex construction defects, employment discrimination and securities fraud, as well as general business tort and contract claims.
   
   Ms. Anderson received her undergraduate degree in English and philosophy, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.A., 1999). She received her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (J.D., 2004), where she was involved in the Moot Court Honors Program and served on its executive board. In law school, Ms. Anderson interned with the Coalition for International Justice in Washington, D.C. on a grant from the University of California, where her work centered on war crimes and justice issues in post-conflict Sierra Leone and East Timor. She also interned in the Office of the General Counsel at the United States Agency for International Development.
   
   Ms. Anderson is a member of the American, Los Angeles County and Philadelphia Bar Associations, and is actively involved with the Pennsylvania Bar Associations Minority Bar Committee.
