SUMMERTON -- Ms. Kathleen "Kat" Kind, 33, of 1078 Carter Road, Summerton, companion of Roy Lester Anderson, died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at her residence.

Born April 18, 1970, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of Henry Kind and Viola Canty Kind.She was a member of St. Matthew AME Church.She was a 1988 graduate of Scott's Branch High School.She was manager of Shoe Show and Dollar General of Manning until declining health.
