In response, we were copied on a letter which Roy Anderson, owner of Ocean One Cruise Outlet sent to Mr. Garfield.
    ...
Whether Roy Anderson is right or wrong to adopt this position toward Disney, it is not for me to say. But, I do agree most emphatically with his right to decide to tell his sales team who and what to sell.

During my just concluded Florida visit, I had a number of in-depth discussions with high level cruise line executives, each of whom asked me the same basic question, "Why don't more travel agents recognize the fact that the cruise industry needs their business, pays them top commissions for selling it and does everything conceivable to help agents to sell more cruises? Why do so many agents continue to act as if they feel they aren't wanted or that the cruise lines are trying to bypass them?".

These are questions which have arisen at every Travel Industry Summit and CRUISE-A-THON conference I have conducted over the past 20+ years.
