Aaron "Lurch" Anderson playing on the wing for the first time ever for Highland, and having explosive runs and strong tackles. These wingers kept the Waterloo team inside all day long. The return of the colossal Dylan Wright saw opponents squint in disbelief as he dragged several opponents and set a Highland maul that would consume 25 m of the opponent's territory.

Right before the half, scrumhalf Robin White was in a maul into which a Waterloo player launched himself from the side - White would leave the game with a separated shoulder, Kirby would move to scrumhalf, Anderson to inside center, and Greg Winton substituted on the wing.

Ron Anderson is coming home, sort of.
After a short stint in higher education, Anderson, best known for the 14 years he spent with The LightHouse, will return to social service work as executive director of the Highland Center. Anderson, 46, most recently was an associate vice chancellor at Southern University in Shreveport.
...
Highland Center board members hope Anderson, who will begin his job Jan. 5, will bring more visibility to the organization and continue to expand its reach.
"We think Ron, with his tremendous experience with the LightHouse and VOA, will address needs in the Highland area," said Kirby Rowe, president of the center's board.
...
Less than 24 hours after being confirmed as the director, Anderson already had a flood of ideas for new programs for a "vibrant campus." He is considering mentoring, a leadership academy, parent enrichment programs and maybe college courses.
"I'm appreciative of the opportunity," he said. -
