LOS ANGELES--May 16, 2000--Elite.com, Inc., developer of Internet Business Services, such as time tracking and billing, for small professional service firms in the legal, accounting, engineering and consulting markets, today announced that Robert Anderson has joined the company as vice president and chief marketing officer. In his new position, Anderson will be responsible for developing branding campaigns, affiliate marketing programs and identifying new business opportunities. As Elite.com develops additional products and services, he will determine the strategy for introducing new offerings.
Anderson brings more than 15 years of marketing experience and has worked as a marketing consultant for software and high-tech companies, including USWeb/CKS. Prior to joining Elite.com, Anderson served as vice president of marketing for US SEARCH.com, a publicly traded Internet company providing consumer and business-to-business information services. At US SEARCH.com, Anderson directed product management, developed and launched advertising and affiliate marketing programs as well as new product introduction programs.
Anderson previously was co-founder and president of Silver Hammer, a Santa Monica-based broadcast design firm. While at Silver Hammer, Anderson led a team that developed and produced on-air network branding and advertising campaigns for clients such as Discovery Kids and USA Networks. This team also developed main titles for television series, including "Oprah," "Profiler" and "Dark Skies." He was directly involved in securing startup funding for Silver Hammer and built its revenue to more than $4 million in the first 14 months of operation.

Anderson earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Southern California and a master's degree in international business and marketing from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business in New York. He has taught several UCLA extension courses in marketing.
