...
Ric started off his working life after University in the oil business, but found that oil did not taste so good, so up to Roseworthy Agricultural College he went to study wine, where he obtained a Graduate Diploma in Wine.Ric joined Thomas Hardy & Sons in 1989 where he reached great heights as Group Marketing Manager and after, when the company morphed into BRL Hardy.
In 1998 Ric moved to Tatachilla Wines as International Marketing Manager, until Tatachilla decided that the time was right to go corporate, merging with St Hallett to form Banksia Wines.
Ric decided something a little more rustic was in order, and moved up the hill to d'Arenberg in 2000.Initial shock at the change soon subsided and Ric sits comfortably now in Chester's daughter, Alicia's, old bedroom, which is now his office.
Ric likes nothing better than jump on his biker or surf board or to go off camping with his wife and two young daughters.
