Ric Anderson, President of the YMCA and Rehabilitation Board and key holder, says the equipment has many benefits. It's a neat system, Anderson said. With Nautilus you have to carry a clip board, while the key records all of the same information automatically.
One of the benefits to using this system is that as people exercise, the computer updates the key with such information as equipment used, duration of workout, level of difficulty, and number of sets and repetitions used with each weight load.Instructors can monitor the length of the training sessions and the volume of activity on the machines. This allows for the Y to make the best possible use of its machines and to avoid making the clients wait for equipment to become available.

I can have Kelly go through and set me up [work out programs], Anderson said.
