Early Sunday morning an innocent bystander, Reginald Anderson of Mattapan, was hit by a stray bullet while leaving the crowded Matrix.
In separate incidents that morning, several females at the club were arrested for disorderly conduct, a member of the Taunton police department was almost run over by a car at the Sunoco gas station, and a nearby neighbor of the nightclub claims a Matrix patron threatened to kill him after he complained about excessive noise.
License Commission Chair Robert Donnelly saida disciplinary hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 16, at which time his board could vote to roll back the nightclub's hours to as early as 11 p.m.
