   After graduating magna cum laude in 1985 from Bethel College in St. Paul , Minnesota , Pete immediately began his career in the financial services industry. Together with his partner , Gary Eilefson , Pete developed a model practice emphasizing both comprehensive financial and estate planning. Desiring to further his knowledge of the financial services profession , Pete completed the necessary educational requirements for the Certified Financial Planner designation ( CFP ) in 1994.
   
   In the past decade , Pete has received national recognition in his field. He has been honored as a national sales leader for both insurance companies and mutual fund investment firms. Together , Pete and Gary manage nearly $100 million in client assets.
   
   In order to remove himself from the biases associated with representing one particular investment firm , Pete co-founded Financial Dimensions Group , Inc. , an independent financial services firm , in 1995. Pete is a registered representative of Royal Alliance Associates , Inc. , one of the nation's largest independent broker-dealers. He is also an investment advisor representative with Abens Financial Services , Inc..
