   Pete grew up in the Minneapolis area and graduated from St. Olaf College in 1996, with a degree in Studio Art. It was at St. Olaf that Pete created his first Web site, entitled "Pete's Page." The site was about his favorite band - The Grateful Dead (c. 1994). Unfortunately, that site dissapeared shortly after graduation. He spent some time after college traveling around the U.S. and working in various restaurants before deciding to do Web work professionally. Pete also works on a number of freelance projects on the side including www.thebigwu.com and www.tinabsides.com. He now lives in South Minneapolis with his wife Katie, his cat Indy, and his puppy Maple.
   
   HOW HE LANDED A JOB AT CICERON: As a freelance project, Pete took over TheBigWu.com's Webmaster position from Ciceron CEO Andrew Eklund (1998). One year later, he was offered a full-time Designer/Developer position at Ciceron.
   
   FAV MUSIC: The Grateful Dead, Phish, Widespread Panic, The Dave Matthews Band, The String Cheese Incident, and The Big Wu.
   
   HOBBIES: Music, Painting, Photography and Gardening.
   
   ALTER EGO: Pete spends his free time in his basement studio painting. His work can be seen hanging in various internationally renowned galleries including His Mother's House, His Father's House, His Grandmother's House, His Best Friend's Apartment, and His Own House.

   Search engine optimization continues to get more complicated and recent trends show that even basic listings won't be free of cost much longer. In December , SearchEngineWatch.com reported , Yahoo has dropped the ability for sites to submit for free to the commercial portion of its directory. Sites wishing to be listed within the 'Shopping and Services' or 'Business to Business' areas of the Web guide must now use Yahoo's $ 199 'Business Express' service. A free submission option remains for those submitting to other areas of the Yahoo.com site or to regional commercial areas at Yahoo's non-US editions..
