   Dr. Anderson is an ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea, external diseases of the eye, and refractive surgery (LASIK). She is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. Prior to residency training, Dr. Anderson was a research fellow sponsored by the National Institute of Health/National Eye Institute. Her research included corneal physiology and ocular toxicology. Dr. Anderson completed her ophthalmology residency training at Emory University. She was awarded the national Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Scholarship to support subspecialty fellowship training. During her fellowship, Dr. Anderson received extensive experience in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at Minnesota Eye Consultants under Dr. Richard Lindstrom and colleagues.

She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology, Mississippi State Medical Association, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and International Society of Refractive Surgery. Dr. Nicole Anderson is a board certified ophthalmologist by the American Academy of Opthalmology.

   Nicole J. Anderson, MD, is an ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea, external diseases of the eye, and refractive surgery. Dr. Anderson attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison where she completed her bachelor's of science degree in three and a half years without distinction. She is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.
   
   Dr. Anderson completed an internship in Pediatrics at Emory University. Following her internship, she spent one year as a research fellow sponsored by the National Institute of Health/National Eye Institute where she studied corneal physiology and ocular toxicology. She was awarded the James H. Nakano Citation for scientific excellence for her work done in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Dr. Anderson has authored numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research at national and international meetings.
