   Mr Anderson was appointed to the Board of Austereo Pty Ltd in 1996 after joining the group in 1989. Mr Anderson has built one of the leading media sales teams in Australia, enabling Austereo to transform its strong ratings into earnings growth. He served as Group General Manager of Sales for Austereo from 1991 to 1996, before assuming the role Group Director of Sales, and then Executive Director of Sales for the merged group. In 2002 Mr Anderson was appointed as Executive Director Sales Strategy & Operations, in May 2003 he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer, and August 2003 as Chief Executive Officer.

   Michael Anderson is Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Austereo Group Ltd. Michael has a distinguished career in radio, spanning more than 14 years.
   
   He joined Austereo in 1990 as Sales Director of FOXFM in Melbourne, moving to Sydney in 1991 to head up the Group's sales operations. Michael was appointed Chief Operating Officer in May 2003 and Chief Executive Officer in August 2003. Michael has served on the Austereo Board of Directors since 1996 and is also currently the Chairman of Commercial Radio Australia - the national radio industry body.
   
   Michael holds a bachelor's degree in political science.
