Michael Anderson, CAE, was appointed President & CEO of the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) in July 1999 after more than two decades of experience in the association and private sectors. He began his association career as Marketing Director of the Canadian Community Newspapers Association. After twelve months, Michael was named Executive Director and held that position for nine years. During his tenure he led an extensive government relations effort that resulted in substantial new revenue growth for members.
He was a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Foundation Board of Directors from 2001 to 2004 and currently serves on its International Section Council and Research Committee.
