Maria Cristiano Anderson concentrates her practice in the area of general litigation, with respect primarily to construction law, collection, health care law, land use and commercial law.Ms. Anderson presently analyzes land use planning and zoning issues for the development needs of corporate clients, particularly in the field of telecommunications.She represents small and mid-sized businesses involved in construction and commercial real estate.Ms. Anderson graduated from Rutgers University with high honors, and received her law degree, cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law.Ms. Anderson served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nicholas G. Mandak, A.J.S.C., Assignment Judge, Superior Court of New Jersey (Passaic County).She is a former member of the Bloomfield Board of Adjustment and has served as a commercial arbitrator in the Superior Court (Passaic County), since 1997.In addition, she was recently appointed as a personal injury arbitrator for Passaic County.She is a member of the New Jersey, Bergen County and Passaic County Bar Associations.She serves on the Insurance Law Committee of the New Jersey Bar Association.Ms. Anderson is the author of "HMO Liability Under ERISA," 192 New Jersey Lawyer, 1998; "Group Standing in an Environmental Suit," 2 Seton Hall Constitutional Law Journal 445 (1991); and "The Newark Mentor Program," New Jersey Law Journal, April 6, 1989.

She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
