   Goosefoot Community Fund, an Island County non-profit whose 15 million dollars of assets are dedicated to a mission of sustainable economic development and affordable housing, has announced the appointment of Leigh Anderson as Executive Director. Anderson is a candidate for her Masters in Business Administration at Seattle University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Anderson makes her home in Freeland with her husband Earl and daughters Andrea and Emily She will work closely with Linda Moore who will remain with Goosefoot as the Chief Executive Officer with a focus on Goosefoot's economic development and real estate activities.
   
   Anderson has extensive and varied experience in leadership and management across a variety of public and private sectors. She served as Director of Finance and General Manager for several enterprises doing business in Russia. She has served as Treasurer for several non-profit boards of directors including South Whidbey Coop Preschool and Leavenworth Summer Theater. She is currently on the advisory board of Whidbey Childrens' Theater. She has most recently owned her own CPA firm, providing business advisory services to small businesses and non-profits, both on and off the island.
