   Ms. Anderson received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law in May of 2005. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology.
   
   Prior to joining Spies, Powers & Robinson, P.C., Ms. Anderson was an associate attorney at Howard & Howard, P.C. in Knoxville, Tennessee where she practiced general civil litigation. Her career was focused on landlord/tenant issues, contract disputes, and real property litigation. . She maintains her license in Tennessee. Ms. Anderson moved to Colorado in June of 2006, and she became a member of the Colorado Bar in October, 2006.
   
   Throughout law school, Ms. Anderson worked as a law clerk at the Knox County District Attorney's Office in the juvenile court and criminal court divisions. During her third year of law school, Ms. Anderson was sworn in as a Special Acting Assistant District Attorney General and was assigned to the felony general sessions court. While in law school, Ms. Anderson also participated in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Moot Court Court Team, Domestic Violence Pro Bono Project, and the Law Women Association.
