    A graduate of Watervliet High School, Mrs. Andersen had been a resident of the Capital District all her life.

    She was a claims clerk at the New York State Department of Labor for 20 years, retiring in the 1970s.

    A member of the Jermain Memorial Presbyterian Church in Watervliet, she was a charter member of its former King's Daughters Society and was a life member of Willetta Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star in Latham.She was an avid painter, with memberships in the Troy Art Guild (for over 20 years) and the Octagon Painters.

    She is survived by her daughter, Gwen Zielinski, of Saratoga Springs; her son, William A. Wagoner, of Rensselaer; her stepdaughter, Cheryl Dufour, of Fort Edward; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

    A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Bowen Funeral Home, 600 Fifth Ave. (corner of Sixth Street), Watervliet.Friends are invited and may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Interment will be in Memory's Gardens in Colonie.
