7/1/02 In a letter dated 6/27/02, UniLink founder Roger Amadon announced that he'd finally bitten the bullet and sold out lock, stock and barrel to Creative Solutions.We'd expected such an announcement for a couple of years because UniLink lost valuable momentum and revenue trying to make it into the Windows environment.It's a shame since they were, at one time, a company that always fit into the upper echelons of quality accounting software.UniLink and CSI are supposed to support UniLink products until October of 2003, but "support" in a case like this generally means that some techy might help with simple technical problems, but mostly the Creative Solutions team will be working to convert the UniLink customer list to Creative Solutions customers.

We wish Amadon and his loyal crew of very talented personnel the best of luck.

And, we especially wish the remaining UniLink customers the best of luck.They will feel somewhat simpatico with the Creative Solutions software, but would do well to examine the other product lines that are available and technically far ahead of where UniLink ended up.

The award was presented by President Roger Amadon.She also received an appreciation award for her support of the American Legion.

Several area teachers also were recognized.

UniLink develops , markets , and services accounting software.At present , UniLink has over 27 , 000 software products installed in 10 , 000 client locations.UniLink's clients range from accounting professionals and their clients to general businesses.
