CONTOOCOOK - Frank W. Amadon , 74 , died Tuesday at his home.He was born in Manchester , the son of Hector and Elizabeth Amadon.He attended Manchester schools and graduated from Central High School in 1946.He worked for Public Service ; was office manager for New England Telephone Co. for 30 years ; and was lobbyist for New England Telephone Co. for the last 10 years , retiring in 1985.He later established Amadon Associates , his own lobbying firm , in Concord , where he represented many associations , including New Hampshire Bankers Association.He enjoyed fishing , woodworking , photography , sailing and skiing.Survivors include his wife of 49 years , Janet Amadon of Contoocook ; a son , Frank Amadon of Cornish ; a daughter , Alicia Abbott of Holderness ; five grandchildren ; two nephews ; and a niece.His parents died previously ; a brother , Russell Amadon , died in 1993.Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. in Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service , 825 Park Ave. , Contoocook.Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Hopkinton.The Rev. Hays Junkin , pastor , will officiate.Burial will follow in Contoocook Village Cemetery in Contoocook.
