Meredith Amado, violinist, has been heard as a soloist, orchestra player and chamber musician throughout the United States and abroad.
She received her Bachelor and Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School, where she performed regularly in Lincoln Center and worked with renowned pedagogues Dorothy DeLay, Felix Galimir, Robert Mann and Harvey Shapiro.
Ms. Amado is the former Associate Concertmaster of the Delaware Symphony and has been heard as a member of the Opera Delaware Orchestra and many other area ensembles.
Currently, she performs as the violinist in the Amado-Yamazaki duo in Delaware.
She has also played in The Saint Louis Symphony, New Jersey Symphony, Oregon Symphony, Oregon Ballet, American Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of St. Luke's.
A committed teacher, she has held teaching positions at North Carolina School of the Arts, Saint Louis University, Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and Eastern Music Festival.
