David Alves (D.Min.) has served the Lord since Christmas Day 1976.
He served with an evangelistic team for his first year as a young believer.
He then returned to graduate from Asbury Collegewith a BS in English/ Secondary Ed.
From there he served as Director of Outreach at a New England church and went on to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he took his Master of Divinity.
All the while he studied, he ministered in churches, camps and conferences with Marcy.
Together they did concerts and renewal weeks and weekends in a variety of United Methodist, Baptist, Episcopal, Congregational, Assembly of God, Four-Square, and Evangelical churches both domestically and over seas.
In 1988, he was ordained by the American Baptist Conference USA and in 1996 by the Advent Christian Maranatha Conference.
David earned his doctorate from Regent University in Christian Leadership, church health, transitioning and revitalization.
He is a certified church health associate of Natural Church Development.
He has spent 17 years in itinerant ministry and 14 as a local pastor.
He currently serves as the Director of Frontline Ministries and as a Co-Pastor of New Life Fellowship, in Concord, NH.
He has served on the International Missions Advisory Council for world outreach.
David loves the Lord and loves to serve local churches and leadership with his gifts of prophetic communication and encouragement.
He also writes, and loves to fly.
His articles have appeared online at (Smallgroups.com--Sept. '06, March '07, June '07, Sept. '07) and often inCell ChurchMagazine and The Witness.
He served as a staff writer for GodlyPlaces.com in 2006-2007.
He has written numerous short stories, poems, essays.
His first non-fiction book, We're the 'sons of God' . . . So What?, is due to be released in early summer of 2009.
His passion is for men to understand what "sonship" means and to reflect Christ in their homes, churches, jobs, and schools, resulting in healed families, so that Jesus may be seen, known, and loved.
He also wants both men and women to understand their high calling as "sons of God" (Gal. 3.14; Rom.
8.11)--Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Together, David and Marcy hosted a radio broadcast heard in Philadelphia, Atlantic City, and New England, providing practical-living encouragement for the Body of Christ.
