Cidalia Alves has studied classical voice at both Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT. She has been a musical theater performer in regional theaters across the country, and has performed locally at many community theaters here in Fairfield County, particularly Crystal Theater of Norwalk, where she has been featured in many of the original musicals written by her voice coach, Cheryl Kemeny. Cidalia is General Manager of Merit Music in Norwalk, where she also teaches voice, piano, and clarinet. She is very excited to be a new member of Musica Plenti!
