Carolina Alvarez - Advisor, Founder
Carolina Alvarez was born in Ecuador, South-America and moved to the US in the year 2000.
She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing in her hometown of Guayaquil, and worked in the advertising field for over a decade.
Her modest upbringing made her see poverty in Ecuador as a common reality.
Right after she and her husband, Joe, started their family, she stopped working and dedicated herself exclusively to them.
Carolina and Joe have 2 beautiful children.
She is the founder of Spanish Train LLC , an initiative to promote early Spanish learning among young children in the United States.
In May 2007, she was invited by Gustavo Hernandez to join the Villa Esperanza project.
She served initially as the secretary of the board, and now she serves as an advisor.
