   Glen Allmendinger, founder and president of Harbor Research, has consulted to a broad spectrum of global computing, communication, electronics and software companies assisting them in the development of corporate strategies, new products, market and service opportunities, and new core capabilities.He has worked with consortia including SEMATECH, ISA and IEEE, and he has served on the boards of more than a dozen technology ventures.Mr. Allmendinger was a key participant in the development of the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences and has consulted to the National Research Council on technology and competitiveness.Prior to founding Harbor Research, Mr. Allmendinger was an award-winning filmmaker, a technology analyst for the Yankee Group and a consultant with State Street Consultants in Boston, MA.

   Glen received his BA from New York University, and completed his graduate studies at M.I.T Center for Advanced Media Studies (forerunner of the Media Lab).He is a member of IEEE, SME, ISA, and the ASME, and has worked closely with several industry trade associations.
