Nick Allen is a marketing director with nearly ten years' experience in IT marketing communications, product launches and market research.
Allen was marketing director for Profit Solutions, a web-based CRM software firm, where he was responsible for developing marketing strategies as well as overseeing internal and external communications, including lead generation, advertising, collateral, trade shows, public relations and partner programs.The company was sold in February 2000 to Frontstep Inc.
Previously, Allen was marketing communications manager for ShowCase Corporation, a provider of AS/400 business intelligence solutions located in Rochester, Minn. While there, he was responsible for collateral development, lead generation, partner programs and its 400+ person users' conference.
Most recently, Allen developed a customer satisfaction research program that helps organizations identify and modify marketing programs and sales processes to align them with customer experiences.In addition, as a marketing consultant, he has worked with SPSS, Everst IS, and Skunes Manufacturing among others.He has also served as a national marketing manager for Moen, Inc and Newell Group.
Allen holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Cardinal Stritch College.
