8:00 Sister City Library Project.In 1987, Quezalguaque, Nicaragua, became Brookline's official Sister City by a vote of Town Meeting.In the early years of this relationship, the Sister City Project provided medical and school supplies, tools that high school carpentry students used to build desks for rural schools, two motorcycles used by the Ministry of Education to supervise and train rural teachers, plumbing supplies and other items.
