Estate gifts, including property and stocks, are becoming a common donation, while used cars are not because new regulations limit their value, Allen said.
Burial plots are also increasingly being donated to the Unforgettables.Two were donated this year, and the charity sold them for between $3,000 and $6,000 each.
"That's a good example of a noncash charitable donation," Allen said.
