Katherine Elizabeth AllenKatherine is an 18 year old student from Salisbury, Queensland.She is a second year student of a double degree in Bachelor of Micro-electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Information Technology at Griffith University.Her majors are in Computer Systems and Computing Science.Katherine expects to graduate in February 2003.

Katherine was runner up in the 'Women in Information Technology Undergraduate Awards 2000'.She was awarded a Griffith University Academic Scholarship for the duration of her course and was awarded the Australian Students Prize for Outstanding Performance in Secondary Studies.

Katherine is a talented pianist and has an interest in yoga and has a keen interest in promoting the role of women in science and technology.
