After a career designing for the high street, Sabina Ali was inspired by a friend's request for a cocktail-style wedding dress.

She came to the Business & IP Centre to investigate whether this idea could turn into a business: glamorous wedding dresses that can be worn again and again after the big day.

Sabina used the Centre's market research collections to find out whether there was a customer need for this kind of dress, and soon discovered a gap in the market.
