    Armando Alfonzo Treasurer has university degrees from L'École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Metiers, France. Aside from having family ties in the Maya region of Mexico and twenty five years of editing publications on Mayan studies and other academic topics, Mr. Alfonzo worked for Mexico's Ministry of Education in the state of Chiapas on projects focusing on education of rural Mayan populations.
